Come and join us on our Travel day to Orlando, Florida!
We flew with British Airways from London Gatwick and arrived into Terminal C at MCO.
We checked into our hotel, The Rosen Inn International on International Drive and then made our way to ICON Park for dinner at Ole Red.
The next day we had breakfast at Denny’s, went to IOA and then watched the Mardi Gras parade at Universal Studios, all followed by an amazing dinner at Chili’s!

we took the bus to out hotel (same as you btw) bus is so cheap there and it stops at the rosen inn. not at the side where the lobby is but still.

Florida has a lot of St. Augustine Grass. The grass has to tolerate the sun...heat and humidity. The blades are wider than those up North. The grasses from the North don't grow great in Florida.

It's nice to have a 'fixed' after arrival routine 🙂 For me, it's being picked up by my friend (he's usually waiting for me when I get off the plane), drop my luggage at his place, change into something more comfortable and suitable for the local weather, then relax for a bit before we're going out to Waffle House for some food 🙂
