The legendary Pokemon Ho-oh and the mythical Pokemon Pecharunt have a major thing in common. It's implied they both transformed a set of three unnamed Pokemon and changed them into legendaries.
But what if in an alternate universe, Ho-oh changed the loyal three, and Pecharunt changed the legendary beasts?

This video explores the idea, reimagining them as unique fakemon.

Raikou - Sickentigerd (sick and tired) Entei - Lionahound (lying around) Suicune - Lepardji (lethargy)
  • If we are to assume the legendary cats have to have a sort o happy/nice pun, I suggest Raikou - Raiteeyo (righty o) Entei - Entravigant (extravagant) Suicune- Suitart (sweetheart)

Raikou could be Gatchertung as a play on “cat got your tongue?” The name comes from GATo and TUNGsten, which is commonly used in lightbulbs.

3:49 That's exactly why Okidogi is my favourite of the three, he looks like a big goofy cartoon villain.

I think we can call this revived Fezandipity Phoenizan, like a contraction of the mythical bird Phoenix, and the "Fezan" part of the base name

Here’s something they have in common; both their Pokémon have canonically died.

The Legendary Beasts' names are a combination of a word for their element and a term for a ruler (水 "sui" plus 君 "kun" for Suicune, 雷 "rai" and or 公 or 皇 "kō" for Raikou, and 炎 "en" plus 帝 "tei" for Entei), so these new beasts should follow the same pattern. So we can use Heiou (兵 "Hei", meaning "soldier" plus 王 "ō", meaning "king) for the revived Okidogi, for example.
  • New Okidogi: Pure Fighting New Munkidori: Pure Psychic New Phezandipiti: Pure Fairy New Raikou: Poison/Electric New Entei: Poison/Fire New Suicune: Poison/Water

I feel like this concept of swapping the circumstances of legendary Pokémon’s creation could’ve been another cool use of Paradox Pokémon. In another timeline, a different group of Pokémon made their way to the burnt tower to be revived by Ho-Oh, etc One swap I could see is the Guardians of Alola swapping with Sinnoh’s Lake Guardians

I'd say the new Raikou could be Zippykaiyay, and be Electric/Poison Entei could be Bowwowabunga and be Fire/Poison And Suicune could be Eufreezya and be Ice/Poison

Beast okidogi should be called Tatakami/Takami/Okeimi from the words tatakei (fight) and okami, to keep a similar name convention with the other beasts as entei means fire emperor Beast Munkidori could be Kasharu/Kashikong from the words kashikoi (smart) and zaru or kong Beast fezandipiti should be something like Kijira, from the words Kirakira (sparkling) and kiji (pheasant)

That color scheme for the wukong pokemon is next level! One of my favorite arts!!!

I've always loved this idea of swapped concepts. Keep up the great work.
  • For the loyal three, I think they would have the ghost typing and keep their fighting, psychic, and fairy typing. For the legendary dogs, they would have the loyal three's secondary typing (poision) and keep their fire, electric, and water typing.

These are all such great redesigns and interpretations! I love these designs so much!
  • Raikou au- poison electric Entei au- poison dark Suicune au- poison ice And for the loyal three au's Okidogi au- fighting grass Munkidori au- psychic water Fezandipiti au- fairy fire
