The most legendary rivalry of all time. It lasted 5 years and never got stale

This was the beginning of an epic era.

Its great to see how much The Rock grew into himself after this promo. You can tell SCSA was already an established, polished character at this time and Rocky was just starting to find his way. The rivalry would never happened if the The Rock hadn't stepped up his game to be on Stone Cold's level.

You can clearly see how green Rocky was on mic at this point of time. Even the most popular Austin catchphrases were not ready yet. Who would have thought, a little more than 25 years later, The Rock vs Stone Cold would be probably the greatest rivalry in the history of professional wrestling.

Rewatching this all these years later … it’s crazy to think this was the beginning of one of the biggest and best rivalries in WWF/E history. What a time to be alive! Thanks for the memories! You two made my childhood so entertaining!

It's weird now seeing The Rock then in the "Rocky sucks" days when he was still finding himself as a character pre superstardom. Would have never imagined then in a million years Rock would be who he is now... Respect

Rock's eyes bugging out at 2:37 is just too damn funny. 🤣💀 BTW - I always loved this version of Rock for some reason. He was more reserved but still entertaining under the surface. "You people are so ignorant" and "Your bottom line will read... has been compliments of The Rock".
