A dream kitchen for our French farmhouse

It is here!! THE kitchen reveal video that we've all been waiting for :)
After three years of hard work the kitchen is (almost) finished! We still need to install doors and there are a couple of other details but I wanted to make this video for you this week as we'll have family visiting in the coming weeks and I won't be able to shoot the reveal video!
The paint we used is by "Ressource" and is called "Hêtre savonné", from the HEJU collection.
The cabinets are IKEA and my husband tailored them to make the kitchen look more authentic
The pendants over the kitchen island are IKEA and the ones over the countertops are from a small online shop here in France that I love called Happy Home: happyhome.bigcartel.com/
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to leave a comment. I'd be happy to share any details I may have forgotten to share in the video... such as the fridge and freezer being in the pantry and not the kitchen itself...
But I guess this won't be the last video I shot in this kitchen!

I totally agree with all of your kitchen choices - window above the sink, two levers on the sink (one for hot and one for cold), stove that allows you to cook like it's a wood stove. And arrange things according to how you really live. I'm so glad you finally have your "better than I dreamt of" kitchen!

Bonjour Marloes, you and Olaf did an amazing job on your kitchen, your vision was spot on and it's absolutely beautiful. I agree with the sink under the window, it's much easier to take in the view when doing the dishes. The counter tops are perfect, they do not make the kitchen look to modern, you have a perfect French farmhouse kitchen. Love from N.Y.

Absolutely delightful. Your flooring is stunning and to think you were not sure of your choice at first, but now you know your instincts were right. Loving the touch of copper - I have a small collection of antique copper fish moulds on a wall in my pantry. ❤
