In spite of the fact that Astro Bot has only ever been the star of a PS VR-exclusive game and a game that was really just a free pack-in tech demo, it’s a little surprising that the IP is as popular as it is with the PlayStation fanbase- but then again, maybe that also speaks to just how unbelievably good those two games have been.

Soon enough, however, Astro fans’ wishes are going to be fulfilled with a full- fledged console 3D platformer in the form of the recently announced Astro Bot. Set to launch exclusively for the PS5 this September, the platformer was recently revealed with a promising and packed trailer, and here, we’re going to go over all the biggest new details we’ve learned about it.

The secret after the boss is most likely Astros's crew members, like the Shadow of the Colossus. The official game description say they have been scattered across galaxies due to the influence of his alien rival. So it would make sense, seen as they said they'd be given a greater role. Just speculation though.

My 7yo son loves gameplay and my stories about artifacts he found in game ((I laughed so hard when he wasn’t able imagine wired controller or that problem when I forgot my memory card at my friends house across whole town so I played days without my progress)) and I love the retro vibes, memories from easier times and gameplay too ofcourse. Day one buy for me. No matter of cost €€€. I would definitely pay more for Astrobot than for new COD, NHL, BF or Concord ((no hate. I like those games too but I don’t see any value in them anymore))

Astrobot Rescue Mission on PSVR 1 was some of the most fun I've ever had gaming. It is therefore is a crime Sony has not ported it to PSVR 2 yet! A worse crime is that they have not made this playable on PSVR 2. There is ZERO reason for this as the dualsense is not being tracked. Only the gyroscope and accelerometer is being used. This is a middle finger to everyone who spent 550 on a PSVR 2! Shame on you Sony! I pray they come to their senses!
