Here's a knot you can use to retrieve dropped items like a Gravity Hook. Gravity Hook is a design of mine. It's a mechanical claw that doubles as a grappling hook. I'm using rope to pike up a bike frame, just like a Gravity Hook might.

You're seeing it written a lot because it's true....This was freaking genius level. Outstanding work.

An expert hits the target others cannot hit, but a genius hits the target others cannot even see. Kudos also to whoever thought an all-rope gravity hook was even a question you could ask.
-
That is an amazing combination of knots. I just watched it, twice, and I still don't totally believe it. I mean, I do, but the level of creative mechanical intelligence required to even theorize this solution is staggering

That gravity hook knot is IMPRESSIVE!!! Well done!!

Dad used to say "Can't is just a little harder to do." This just proved that again. Impressive!
-
I audibly gasped when you demonstrated that knotted contraption doing the gravity hook thing. That is amazing. "Those who say it cannot be done should not interrupt those who are doing it."
-
I love that you are replacing one of your own products with one of your own knots which you are showing everyone for free. Absolute madlad level

I love practical applications of knots (like mechanical purchase), and this is genius. This is one of the best knotting channels on YT - great, unique content, explained clearly, non-repetitively and at a good pace, with a non-annoying voice. Winner! And now I need a gravity hook and a marlin spike from you. At least!

Fascinating! The only problem with videos like this, is that they always seem to make me feel abysmally stupid. Oh well- they are worth it, despite my self esteem taking hits, lol. Great content!

Hoping the entirety of this video flashes through my mind if there's ever a moment in the future that I'd really need to do this
-
That must have been a very satisfying challenge.

The level of creative mechanical intelligence is astounding. I'm surprised that it worked. Good job good job good job

This is pure wizardry. I saw the video, I understood there were loops and knots, I will never get to the point of understanding how that was done.

Dude you just redefined the knot tier list. You're sitting almost alone in S tier, but dude who figured out how to throw a line and have it wrap itself into a clove hitch is there too
-
Very clever, simple and brilliant. More importantly, it worked. A true master.

I've never seen this before, the thrill of learning something new. it's really strting to amaze me what you can do with a piece of rope.

When I was a child, I learned several knots from a book. Even though I learned them, each knot was somewhat of a struggle trying to learn from a few pictures and some text. Your videos make it almost effortless to learn a new knot. Thank you for your good work.

Excellent. I will be practicing this one as I can see it having real life value. ❤
