Imagine that you had a thought and everything in the world changed. Seems impossible. But you can have a thought, an idea, or a question that completely changes how you perceive the world. We could say that with that change of perception, not only has the world changed, but existence itself has radically changed.

If we search through the Great Tradition of spiritual understanding, from the ancient Vedas to the contemporary world of neo-Advaita, we discover these thoughts, ideas, and questions meant to bring a radical change to one’s perception of themselves and of the world.
In the Zen Buddhist tradition these questions are meant to bring about this transformation in consciousness.

Lets jump into this school of life as we intellectually tackle the most important questions of life which are found in spiritual traditions like Zen, Buddhism, Advaita Vedanta, Bhagavad Gita, etc.

What is the one thought that changed your life?

It is worth mentioning that those inquiries will lead to a sort of madness at first. Everyone goes through it differently I’m sure, but for me it was 2 years of madness. Of course at that point it seems to be a very real madness, only to realize that that too is unnecessary. I wish everyone a courage.

From the moment you say Re-cognize yourself, this whole idea kicks in, as if it was an LSD but with words. You are a Magician my friend.

Then it dawns on you: “Of course, I’m God. I am consciousness. I am imagining myself. I am whatever I conceive myself to be because there is nothing outside my endless Mind.”

When I had NDE I saw myself out side of my body. So I have vision, memory, feeling and knowledge in my light even as this light was on the outside looking at my vehicle in the hands of the paramedics. Peace. Just know there is no Death!

In Budhism the Middle Way is the one chosen by Buddha. If we get radical, we are unbalanced. Remember that ¨I¨ is the one who brings the bread home.

This video has made me aware of why I always wake up in a bad mood. Where ever I go when I sleep, is home. Where I wake up, is not.

Emotions are the literal food of thought. If you consider your thoughts as originating in your head alone and then react to them then you will be stuck in a cycle of repeating and reinforcing them. Thoughts will wither and fade away if you starve them. You only do that by observing your thoughts when they arise.

I’ve had a couple of these types of thoughts before that significantly changed the way I perceive things ‘Nothing matters’ ‘Everything is okay’ ‘Everything is in a constant state of happening’ ‘Everything just is’ ‘There’s nothing to do’ I mainly got these from meditating
  • Since i have conciousness ive been having this concept in my mind, even without words but it's hard to keep it in a world of identitification so this concept have to be printed in the subconcious mind either i remind myself everyday or try to be present in the moment without thinking that i am this because i know the real me is nothing and that's not bad, thats powerfull and you can read this text as if you wrote it because i speak to the nothing which is the "true self", the nothing that can be anything and that's everything

Hi friend, Thank you so much for your life time of study, wisdom and video. This came at perfect time as I had experienced the dreamless yet wakeful sleep last night. It has probably happened before. Yet last night was the first time I was super aware and kinda just existed there for a while in equanimity. Needless to say. An interesting experience. Beyond words. This video helped to put words to what I had experienced and is expanding what is possible for me. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

A thought never changes anything, only realization changes everything.
  • This ties in nicely with Hermetic principal#1 - "The All is Mind; the Universe is Mental."
