City bought Alvarez for 14 million just two seasons ago. And now they are selling him for 75 million and possibly up to 95 million. They literally sold him for five to six times what they brought him in for in just two seasons. That’s incredible business.

This clown Moreno always says the same dumb thing about Atleti and Simeone and thinks they still play the same style from 2014. People seem to forget that in 2019 Atleti spent 250M getting 6 players for a rebuild and trying to build a brand around a star player, theyre simply doing the same again knowing that Griezmann will eventually leave. Theyve made 150M selling in the past 2 seasons not including the sale of Samu. They wont spend money like this for a long time, not until the next rebuild.

Despite what everyone thinks, says, or believes about Simeone's throughout the years, all his world class strikers perform incredibly well, scoring lots of goals such as Aguero, Falcao, Costa, Forlan, Suarez, etc. Even joao Felix under Simeone is when he has performed the best. If Alvarez is really that good, then he'll do great.
