People want to support the homeless as long as the homeless aren't camping out in their neighborhoods.
  • @lramir1751
Send them to California Million $ Homeless Mansion Gov. Newsome sure won't mindšŸ¤©
  • How can an individual afford ā€œaffordable housingā€ when their not even working? Sounds like itā€™s code for free housing.
  • Well the unhoused or homeless people should get a job, get help with addiction, and start being part of society

Find a field for them to go to and sleep in tents not in the public where people want to go and shop. These people refuse to go to a shelter because they have rules that they donā€™t want to obey.

Crazy how in the first minute we have two poorly-dressed men upset about it and suck at articulating why the camping ban is negative, while the mayor very clearly says the problems that existed before the courts ruled they could move these people out. Get into treatment, get clean, or get off the streets: it's that simple.

These guys you interviewed are young and able to work . But if you decide to be a drug addict and live like a gangsta then donā€™t expect everyone else to pick up the tab and take care of you. This has nothing to do with affordable housing
  • It's just common sense, you cant setup a tent wherever you want, cities need to fine and jail these Junkies!

Okay so you can ticket homeless people then if they donā€™t pay up you put them in jail then you ticket them again and jail them again šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«

In my city the Public Works crews are now preparing for this task. Get them out of town.
  • You need to pay to live like everyone else. Choosing to buy drugs instead of rent is your choice.
  • Public property does not belong to the public. Common sense. You canā€™t walk into a cemetery or park at your leisure when they are closed. Get off drugs. Get a job. Take care of mentally ill.
  • They should not be doing what they are doing if they are legally here they can get a job
  • @3mara36
They should learn. And theyā€™re ignorant but you can squat in abandoned commercial buildings. And itā€™s a hell to get them out. No police can take them out since itā€™s not a civil matter
  • yeah I can see this coversation going on in a jail.... what are you in for? for being broke and homeless
  • So, we've decided that we'd rather spend 2 to 3 times the cost of housing the homeless on putting them in prison. Pretty sure having a record is going to make getting housing more difficult. Do you see the issue here?
