Late in the year 1994 was when my doctor advised me to listen to Yanni, i was about 24 weeks gone with my second daughter's , i fell in love with his style and would play hus music very close to my belly, and the baby in me will be calm, the doctor recommended his music when i was having a very serious case tgat coykd result in miscarriage. My best friend from highschool was greek, he introduced me into this artist music back in 1994. Live in the acropolis was the CD he borrowed me. It was love at first sound. My mate died in 2015 but this is part of his legacy and I will embrace it to my last days. Yanni is an amazing artist and beautiful soul.

Life is too short and this morning simply because I am listening to Yanni and I decide that I should enjoy every second of life joyfully.

In the mid 80s, fresh out of college, I was a kid from the Midwest living in Los Angeles and dating a beautiful Southern California girl. It was a time of discovery for me as the first time out on my own. Many nights, she and I would lay tangled up in bed naked; still glistening and breathless from intimacy. The windows would be open with the breeze moving the curtains while this music played on KTWV. We were young and at the top of our game. Neither of us had bellies or wrinkles or life's troubles weighing down on us. Our lives were spread out ahead of us like presents under the tree on Christmas morning. We would have laughed at anyone who tried to tell us that we wouldn't be young forever. That was 38 years ago. I'm over 60 and have been married for almost 30 years. My wife is an amazing mom and grandma, and i love her dearly. I have long since lost track of my beautiful Southern California girl, but I can still remember her eyes locked on mine in our many passionate moments. Life is good, and I wouldn't change a thing. But... given the chance, I would go back, just for one night, to that cramped apartment in LA. I would be naked and entwined with that girl who I don't even know anymore. The window would be open, this music playing, and the curtains moving gently in the warm breeze of my youth all those many years ago.

Historians will no doubt debate whether Yanni's music qualifies to be in the same league is as the legends i.e. Bach, Beethoven, Mozart etc. We are just lucky to be alive that we got to see him :)

He is a matchless musical genius and his songs , a gift from God to heal our souls in this chaotic world !

I love all the people in the world but I am proud to be Greek... Hellenic...Yanni yeia sou...the best
