A little over a year ago, I uploaded footage of myself practicing speedruns for Spider-Man 2002. The game was being run on PCSX2 rather than PC, so I artificially sped up loading times by disabling frame limits during the loading session. I have no idea why, and I don't expect this video to come close to it, but that eventually became my most-viewed video. I specifically chose the first three levels of the game at the time because they were all leading toward the first boss of the game, and because they also caused the most resets for runners.

Even now, these levels can be despicable, but I thought it'd be fun to go back and compare how I play now vs how I play then. A lot of stuff changed for Search For Justice, and the strategies involved in that level are mostly adjustments of Natetheman223's TAS strategy. Warehouse Hunt is mostly the same, but my movement is more refined and the strategy to take down the fuse-carrying guard with fast impact webs also came from me. The elbow slam at the end group of thugs was something Nate came up with in passing that I decided to test out. Birth of a Hero has the least amount of change, I think, but there isn't much to be changed unless or until we find a way to more reliably take down Spike (or "BUTCH", as his audio folder calls him)... although, we don't go for the Advanced Web Dome anymore, so that also saves some time.
