Yvette Cooper, the home secretary, has arrived at the scene where tributes are being left for the victims of the Southport knife attack.

The home secretary laid flowers of her own and read through the many tributes left for the two children killed and 11 people injured during yesterday’s attack. She was joined by Patrick Hurley, the Labour MP for Southport, and Emily Spurrell, the Merseyside Police and Crime Commissioner.

As well as flowers and cards, teddy bears and footballs were left at the edge of Tithebarn Road, a five-minute walk from The Hart Space where the attack took place. A police cordon still surrounds much of the site this morning.

  • Cooper has always been a supporter of open borders, she has advocated for this, labour has just given amnesty to 90,000 unvetted illegals, I'm amazed she has the audacity.
  • Phoney..... You were voted in to make a difference..... Do your job instead of blowing smoke
  • Third child just died. Peacefuls are celebrating More arrivals daily. This isnt growth, this is a death sentence for UK citizens.
  • Crocodile tears and sorrow from these hypocrites. DEI has a role in this and politicians are culpable.

1 week of multiculturalism in England > Bangladeshi riots in Whitechapel > Police attacked by Pakistanis > Roma riots in Leeds > Soldier stabbed by Nigerian > Knife frenzy in children’s dance class And that’s just what made the newsreels, imagine what else happened but was brushed under the carpet.

And at the same time, Labour have opened the floodgates, to allow more come across the Channel and put the safety of British women and children at risk. 3,000 more in the last 3 weeks.

She's got a bloody nerve. She's one of the main reasons the UK is screwed. Her words are meaningless.
