Imagine if Zod succeeded, then Steppenwolf and Darkseid will be met with a race of gods protecting the Mother Boxes and Anti-Life Equation
  • After the Flash we need to show this dude some more respect. Man single handedly bodied the entire Kyrptonian army and never died trying!
  • The sheer power of two Kryptonians fighting each other was actually breath taking. EVERYTHING is a weapon...even the buildings. This is what it looks like when Gods go to War.
  • @M5arkHunt
Completely accurate. Two Kryptonians going at it should be like an atom bomb explosion. Critics suck.

Zod: “Where did you train? On a farm?!” Superman: “yes.” 😐
  • 0:42 i love this moment so much, because Zod's voice cracks at the thought of his people being dead, and it feels like he is about to burst into tears (which is not normal, him being from the soldier caste and so), but his rage against Clark and mankind is so big that he can't even mourne his people.

I absolutely love his justification for his behavior (Zod). It was literally in his genetic code that he was to protect Kryptonians. He wasn't evil, he wanted to protect his race. It really hit me in the theater as amazing justification for his actions and it's amazing writing and dialogue from an average superhero movie

Imagine being trained your entire life to master your senses and get beaten by a guy trained on a farm.
  • The Funny thing is Zod was a much bigger threat than Steppenwolf in Justice League
  • There is no way James Gunn will be able to film a Superman fight as good as this. Damn Zack Snyder knows how to make action scenes.

The sheer scale of destruction that’s displayed each time they clash is amazing. This movie is amazing

How could people dislike this movie...where did they learn to critic, ON A FARM?!
  • @xavvvorg4653
Zod adapted in mere days to what took Kal his whole life to do. Truly a warrior.

Some movies get too into their head that a villain MUST be likable or overly sympathetic to make them memorable and/or deep. But at the end of the day, all you need is a character with incredible conviction to make them memorable. And Shannon absolutely shined in showing that off.

Zod was legit terrifying in this movie. Michael Shannon deserves praise.

I always liked the little detail that the heat vision actually hurts the Kryptonian. Adds a certain layer of believability to their powers.

Man Of Steel 1 Villain: Zod Man Of Steel 2 Villain: Brainiac Man Of Steel 3 Villain: Doomsday What a trilogy it could have been

10 years later, and is still the best fight scene in any movie. Yes there are some frustrating moments, but the movement of Superman makes it the best. Too many people only see the destruction and fail to appreciate what fans of Superman always wanted to see in live action, Superman fighting and using his abilities in an open world against a character of similar abilities, who could take the punches.
  • "And now..... I have no people." Most underrated delivery of a line in the whole movie. Sent chills down my spine when I watched this first time. Reminded me of a quote, "nothing is more dangerous than a man with nothing more to lose."
