His uncle James (Pistol) was 5'10" and couldn't stay out of the air - people still talk about stuff he did 25 years ago in pickup games. Dominated football and baseball too - I think he plays semi pro still. His mom was a ridiculous PG. Proud to see someone from that family getting theirs. Most of what Ja did in this game, he's doing it for the Grizzlies now. I'm born and raised in Memphis, have kept up and supported this team since they moved from Vancouver(in 2001)and i/we have NEVER had a player like Ja. Even in the grit and grind era(7straight playoff years)we NEVER had a player this exiting and dynamic. There are dozens of Grizzlies Ja Morant highlights on YT. I just hope and pray he doesnt get hurt. People from Murray, KY come down to see him play and hopefully people in the Dalzell-Sumter, SC area can find a way to come to Memphis and see him play in person.
