It would be better if the press met Trump on the street rather than in the courthouse. Shouldn't be allowed. Very disrespectful. Prefer the press to carry no audio and just show him blustering to no one interested.

Did they misunderstand the question about why he gets to speak outside the courtroom? The "they" she probably meant are the judicial authorities: the judge and the court, NOT Trump's attorneys. So, why DOES the defendant get to make public statements on entering and leaving, and why is he furnished a microphone for that purpose?

Things get tricky when there's overwhelming evidence. For all his felonies actually. What's hilarious is he can't keep his mouth shut and the strongest evidence in every case is him confessing on video.
