We were called in to fix this absolute nightmare of a DIY garden renovation gone wrong. The owner didn't realise how much work is involved in a job like this and how hard the work is to do. To add insult to injury, the owner's dog had then dug massive, great holes everywhere. This one was a difficult job, we removed around 2 trailer loads of green waste, then moved around 3 tonnes of clean soil at the end. All up, the job took a full 10 hour day!

Workers on this job: George (long pants) & Brent (shorts).

FAQ's:

Q: Do you worry about snakes?
A: I have never even seen a snake in 4 years on the job.

Q: Where are you located?
A: We are from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia 🦘🦘🦘.

Q: Which equipment do you use?
A: We use mostly STIHL power equipment (battery and petrol) and commercial Honda self-propelled mowers.

Q: How much do the jobs cost?
A: Sorry, I prefer not to talk about costs!

Q: What happened to Nick?
A: Nick was offered a full-time position at his other job as a Political admin!

Q: Why don't you use tarps instead of cans?
A: Tarps are too difficult to move through small spaces and lift into the trailer. The same for wheelbarrows, they are only good for unloading the trailer!

Q: Why are the hot water cylinders outside?
A: I'm not really sure to be honest, maybe something to do with space & maintenance, but either way, it really is poor heat efficiency!

Q: Why are you cutting so close to your employee!
A: I'm not cutting too close to my workers, they are standing too close to where I am working! All of my workers have been told numerous times about standing too close to the tools and about the hazards involved!

Q: Why do your workers do all the lifting and carrying?
A: Basically, they are employed to carry things and I pay them well to do the job required.

Q: You work so well together, how do you do it?
A: That's the magic of editing. My workers are basically given instructions on what to do, I just edit it all out, so the videos look seam

  • Your assistant, Ever Last, is one heck of a worker!! If you had more like him you could take over the world! The two of you guys make a great team. Love the videos.

I can only imagine the owner's reaction, absolute astonishment. The property looks completely different. It doesn't look like the same place. This is the look of perfection. Nothing is left undone, nothing. I'm sure that Brent, no matter where he goes, after working with you, will carry this work ethic and dedication with him. You, sir, are definitely the Best!
  • I love the fact you did the section by the firewood even though it wasn’t part of the job. Shows you care about the entire project. Great business as the owner will appreciate it and surely recommend you to another client.

Hello from sunny California , OK, I am nominating you guys for “Most Hard Working”award on next YouTube awards ceremony! Unbelievable !!! Thanks for sharing
  • You deserve a medal for this one, and a spa day, and a cold drink, and a huge tip! This job was massive and the transformation is unbelievable! As always, you go the extra mile and then some. Cheers 🇨🇦
  • I watched a lot of such videos on YT - I love gardens and always look for tips to clean mine the best way. This being said, both of you are the only ones who actually really clean up EVERYTHING in the garden before leaving. Not a single weed stays on place; which is the best way for not having double the number growing between two sessions of garden maintenance. You're definitely the best out there. OK. Now going to cry in my bedroom as you do not live in my side of the planet, hehe. Cheers.
  • That guy always filling up the trash can never ceases to impress me with how much debris he fits into one load. Great job guys!

OMG I literally groaned when I saw this mess!😳 I don't know how you guys keep going all day you know! But the results are amazing! Unreal
  • @marionadams1701
You two work together like a well oiled clock! I particularly like the way each area is cleaned as you go along. Kudos!!
  • During this amazing transformation, you also delighted people who want to see wheelbarrow by your work. 😁 😋
  • @janicehales2958
It blows my mind that people will let their yards get in a state like this before cleaning it up. That being said, you guys are awesome at what you do. Everything looks great!

Wow George! The DOG! I love the rich soil that you have in Tasmania, and the VIEWS are breathtaking. One thing I love about the way you and your crew work, you do a section and clean up behind you. Then do another section and clean up behind you. Most would just tackle the job and then do the cleanup. I like your method better. That's one thing I love about mowing my own lawn (when I have one), I can see where I've been. And feel pride in a job well done.
  • WOW. That looked like a job for heavy equipment. Always adding value for the customer. Great work.
  • @dorianmorton67
Hey it helps to aim the wheelbarrow towards where you are going before you fill it. It’s easier to turn around with an empty one than a full one. ❤️🇨🇦
  • @lisaraymond6193
You guys are one fantastic duo. For all the times you go the extra mile, I only have one word for you. RESPECT
  • @debrawebb4001
2 good men who go above and beyond what’s asked and leave it 100 times better than they found it!!!
  • Sorry , I didn't mean to send my previous comment yet. What I was trying to say is that what a physical job this was for you both. It turned out amazing as always. You even went the extra mile with the wood shack area. Your work ethic is something to be proud of both of you. I really enjoyed this video.
  • What a nightmare of a yard, You both worked your butts off but you left it sooooo much neater, and those craters the dogs made, geez. Well done to you both. Cheers!
