Every single scene in the trailer looks like we've seen it before

I'm pretty certain some of these aliens are going to get called out on thier microaggressions.

I really wish they'd actually move the story forward instead of it always being a crew stumbling upon the remnants of the last crew and them all slowly getting picked off.

Those spaceships must cost trillions of dollars to make - you would think they would build them with better lighting.

The problem with having so many movies in the franchise (across different timelines) is that the same tropes are just repeated - the eggs, facehuggers, chest bursts, then full grown aliens, acid for blood, dimly lit corridors, a crew that slowly gets picked off.... We've seen it all before and know whats going to happen. There's no suspense or jeopardy as it's become so formulaic (aliens + disposable space crew = carnage). Rinse and repeat. Cameron set the bar so high with the first sequel - Aliens (made in 1986!) is still a better movie than anything since - despite huge advances in CGI, set design, technical filmmaking, and bigger budgets. Same with the Terminator franchise, which also peaked with Cameron's sequel.

I’ve loved this creature for 33 years. Saw Aliens when I was 11 and I don’t care how many Alien films they make, I’ll see every last one.

This time they are going to clone Hicks and Newt so they can kill them off right at the start of the movie again.
