This is a part of my story of Adderall use and abuse.

I hope this can help anyone else on the path of healing, learning and growing.

Having taken amphetamines for most of my life and departing from them, I again feel called to communicate with the ADD/ADHD community about what I have experienced, the impressions left on me and the perspective I have developed over time.

Feel free to ask questions and respond so we can construct a better image of this situation as a whole

Please comment and subscribe and I will reply to comments in more video and we can engage in a dialogue that can get to the bottom of our relationship to substances that relate to attention.

I am learning so much, Thank you for watching.

do you take amphetamines? Do you like them? Are you ever worried about them being too strong? Have you tried alternatives? Have you tried to quit? Tell me all about it in the comments
Hit subscribe and learn all about it with me :@

  • Flushed my last two 20s instant release 9 years ago. Quit my job of 13 years and spent a month on the couch . Thank God my wife stood by me after seven years of amphetamine abuse. Keep your head up bro. Things do get better

I'm on day 5 of cold turkey quitting adderall. I'm in tears listening to this. It is so hard, blessings to all who are on this journey with me. Stay strong, you can do this
  • @cbc067
It took me about a year to get back to myself and I've never felt better. You can do it

I NEVER comment on YouTube videos, but I've watched this video everyday since quitting adderall and it's honestly the reason I stay clean and keep fighting these suicidal thoughts. I used to cry to my therapist and friends about how I just want someone, anyone, to feel how I'm feeling, and after my first time watching this video it finally felt like someone understood. Every word you said resonated with me. I'm forever grateful. I can't thank you enough for this.
  • You are a God send. I have been feeling so alone with the fear of withdrawal. 8 years of Addys. I am losing all my passion for everything. I’m so tired. Thank you! So much!!!!

I am currently trying to come off of Adderall after about 6 years of stimulant abuse (Vyvanse & Adderall, some Ritalin.). Thank you man! Thank you for sharing..so motivational. I could relate on so many levels..I truly didn’t realize how much this pill was a false idea of a life for over 14 years. It’s now the calm after the storm and having a support system going through this is so beneficial. Sending positive energy to you and everyone going through this journey.
  • @keithfuller
Good on you brother. I accidentally kicked adderall last week under circumstances similar to yours. Your video is helping me. Illuminating the path; validating my experience. Thank you.
  • Bless you for creating this video and vulnerably sharing your experience. It’s SO hard. I was debating getting another prescription and this video helped deter me, so thank you for that. I am on day 6, and this is my 5th time quitting.
  • @sirhappyman
Bro, I needed to see this, I'm quitting for my kids right now going through the withdrawal, I'll never do it again. Much love to you sir!

Great video. Extremely helpful. I am lookig to stop taking them myself. I've been on stimulants since the second grade on and off. The bit about not being able to take credit for the things accomplished while on the Adderall really resonates with me brother. Thank you for sharing.
  • Thank you for the video. Good for you for overcoming Adderall and I hope you are able to fulfill, even surpass your potential in life. G-d bless.
  • Thanks for being straight up man. This story hit home. I’m looking at 2 bottles of this crap. Every side affect you said is right. But I’m never going back. Thanks again πŸ€˜πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
  • Omg thank you for sharing. I just stopped cold turkey about a month ago. I feel all kinds different things, some good and some bad, but manageable, I guess. I can’t wait to feel better and not think about it everyday.πŸ™πŸ‘
