My Korean friends plays this all the time. I asked them one time to teach my European friend and I. They said sorry it's too hard to explain.

@rcmanization Yes. When the cards placed in front of the players total 3 or 7 then they can say go or stop. That's why I recommend when first starting out, just play until all the cards are out and total up the points at the end. Helps get familiar with scoring.

I loved playing Godori. Our Katusa soldier taught us and we didn't play for money, but a whole lot of soju was involved.

@MyPinkRainbow Shipping is a pain! However, if you head to a local Korean or Japanese Town or cultural center, I'm sure you can find them there... or on ebay!

I always wanted to play this because my mom always played. She tried to teach me to no avail. So I stumbled on this video... and still to no avail. You did a great job explaining it all, I was just not made for understanding Go Stop

@qiranger wow! so if you opt for a couple of GO-rounds, the board would basically be filled with loads of cards right?
