I got a ristretto for about 4k and it's been 100% amazing. It works like a champ. Top speed I hit is 44mph, and you can go off road due to the 500$ suspension on rear and forks. Dude you shold buy one and review it!

Funny you mention the connection between light feeling and cheap electronics, I recently opened up a cheapo BT controller form Walmart and found two roughly 19mm nuts sitting inside it, seemingly just to add weight to it. 😂 It did make it feel more expensive though.

Thanks for taking one for the team!! (you bought it so we don't have to) Also a word of caution. If you ever charge the battery do it outside! With the proliferation of electric bicycles and scooters fires from exploding battery's are becoming more and more common.

I love your channel. I watch it every morning while I get ready for work. You guys are awesome. Watching always puts me in a good mood for the day because it always makes me laugh. I used to ride all the time until I had kids. I actually traded my last gsxr for a mini van because I needed to be able to fit all my kids in one vehicle. Watching your videos makes me want a motorcycle again soooooo bad but I just can't afford one with 3 teenage boys. The lord works in mysterious ways though, so maybe one day I'll get lucky and find a bike i can afford and I'll be able to feel that fantastic freedom you get from riding again. Dude, I so need an electric bike. I’ve rode bikes all my life but due to an autoimmune disorder which took me out of the work force and forced me into retirement I’m living on a fixed budget now. I’m 51y old 6’3” 250 lbs so buying something I could afford is just a dream. If you ever have anything that needs a little work or are planning on junking please keep me in mind. 8:13 So true. I bought a really cheap Bluetooth controller that was so light and just felt really cheap, so I opened it up and taped two lead fishing sinkers into the parts where your hands rest. Suddenly it felt waaaaaay more expensive lol
