No, Mom. Choosing the dress is not all about the dress - it's all about the bride. And it is DEFINITELY NOT about you. This bride has made it absolutely clear that dress #1 is her choice. You don't have to agree, just tell her that you love her and that she looks beautiful (which she does). You don't have to say that you love the dress, but the way that you voice your opinions is so mean & demeaning.

Thank you for the perfect example of a narcissistic mother for all of us to learn from. The one thing that a narcissist canāt bear is to be exposed in public for who they truly are. Now friends, relatives, and acquaintances know. The sadness on both of those girls faces spoke volumes. That was the Mom THEY knew, now the world knows, too.

The dejection in her voice at 3:07 broke my heart. She seems like such a sweet girl and she looks absolutely gorgeous in that dress. You can tell that all she wanted was her mom to say she liked it (even if it was a lie). I just want to give her a hug!
