Warframe (Guide) - The New Blast Proc Is Awesome (New Status Builds)

Today we're having a look at the new Blast proc introduced with the Jade Shadows Update to Warframe. We will go over a couple of build examples so you understand how Status Builds will update because of this new proc.

Warframe is a free-to-play action role-playing third-person shooter multiplayer online game developed and published by Digital Extremes.

  • Admittedly, I appreciate the knock-off "TNT" song choice on a video about Blast.
  • I've found Blast to work really well with Hunter Munitions and Hemorrhage. Basically, if it's strong enough to kill in 1 second by the slash proc, or even dies on hit, and it procs Blast with that same shot, it'll trigger the on death detonation. Works really well on the Vectis Prime and (everyone'll me crazy. But,) the Exergis, and exceptionally well on the Chakkhurr Not sure whether or to call this "Slash Blast", "Slash Bomb", or "Bleed Bomb". But, I'm liking the second option the most
  • Electric/blast is a combination that i never thought it would be possible, but here i am running it with a boltor prime incarnon, with 70% status chance per shot in the incarnon, a 9ish multishot and 16 fire rate

I think this is a bug but whenever you're near an enemy that was killed by a blast proc. It does self damage. I found this out by modding blast on exalted blade
  • @strigon012
Yeees leyzar take the bane mod red pill imagine the double dip DoT so much damage
  • The new blast proc goes really well with the new Dagath Augment. The new Dagath Augment allows weapon damage to apply doom when you use your 3, and blast procs count as weapon damage, so even single target status weapons will apply doom to every enemy in a group without having to press 2 or worry about its range at all. As duration extends the invulnerability, that allows you to dump range for Narrow Minded and get 20 seconds of invulnerability. Unfortunately, you need to keep your 2, as if you subsume it off, doom applied by your 3 doesn't scale with power strength anymore as you no longer have doom as an ability. So if you want to subsume, you need to subsume her 1 or 4. I personally subsume over her 4, as 60,000+ viral damage isn't much when you're already doing 1 million+ with weapons (her augment is weapons focused as well) and is rather cumbersome to use without a good amount of casting speed. The rest of her abilities apply viral too without using as much energy. Eclipse seems like a good Helminth, use the damage reduction when she's not invulnerable and the weapon damage when she is invulnerable.
  • @Mezelenja
Frost with a Bramma is such a DIRTY build. Fun AF. Dude just shuts down rooms.
  • @MisterPuck
Put blast on my Twin Khomak. It’s pretty fun.
  • So does fulmination work on the blasts size since that was a new feature for the procs?
  • Hi, will you update a new melee meta, especially for Harmony and Hate Incarnon?
  • @findmi2708
leyzar, what monitor you using? the specs of the monitor
  • @soul2065
So when do we get the mods that prevent type damage from combining?
  • @uramis00
What progenitor should I get on the Tenet Glaxion If I should decide to go this route? Did you go radiation because it doesn't mix with other elements?
  • @WHY_DERBY
Hello, how do you make a resolution for the game so that there are black bars at the top and bottom?
  • when you make the new builds can you focus more on building the weapon by itself rather than building for an entire loadout? it’s really annoying when you showcase a “maxed out” build for a weapon but it needs to use a specific warframe arcane, a specific helminth ability, a specific companion, and a specific companion weapon. i’d like to see how far the weapon can go on its own without relying on external buffs.
