You think you're halfway through the game after 25 hours? Oh, you sweet summer child...
  • 1. I love the world layout and how it all goes so well together 2. the glory kills just hit so damn good 3. replay-ability in this game is so robust that I can still find new stuff to this day even though I have over 400 hrs in it.

Like you said the music is amazing The fact that you can become a God and beat the greybeards down to their knees is amazing. You can't killed them but to beat all four of them to the point they're on their knees freaking amazing. It's so easy once you learn the trick, step one level your character to 100, step two get all unique armor like the ebony male and archimage robe and so on. Once you've collected enough armor go to white run and go to jail. Now once in jail break out and go all the way to the end of the tunnel where a ladder is. Go up the ladder and steal your stuff back now equip any armor or robe you didn't have on and gear like rings and necklace. Now the door at the bottom of the door leads you to the room where the guards are or just Walk on top around the corner and fall in the hole to get to the guards quarter. Now steal something else and go back to jail and then repeat until you put on every armor and jewelry you have one set a time. when you're done putting on your stuff serve your time in jail and when you get out you'll have all your best gear on turning you into a god without mods, this is a must try for every Skyrim player at least once. You spent hours working on getting all that great gear only to be able to only use one at a time bs not anymore. The ebony warrior is going to get bully and everyone else. You won't even need a shout with the right gear and weapons. You can just laugh at them all as they try and beat you, it's going to be like fighting ants after awhile. This makes the game so much fun and fare and just take some stuff off if you feel like giving the world a break from your God power. Skyrim is a long game this makes it short quick, but you don't have to level up to a 100 to do it but leveling up that much with gear makes you unstoppable. I don't know who else knows this trick but good for you for finding out. Skyrim can be replay a hundred times with this secret out

My number 1 would have to be how the game is a true sandbox experience. The fact I can take any character from my imagination, create him/her and then basically live a second life as that character, for as long as I like, without being penalised or restricted for not doing this or that is incredible. Since it came out I've made honourable warriors, cutthroat mercenaries, humble soldiers, treasure hunters, monster hunters, dragon slayers, woodsmen, thieves, assassins and rangers. I even made a pacifist hermit alchemist who shunned society and avoided all contact with others. Even after all this time, I still haven't done a mage, a vampire or a werewolf playthrough, each of which offers a whole range of role-playing possibilities. Not every build is successful, but the fact the game allows you to experiment so freely is what I love most about it.

Excellent video. Lately I've been replaying Morrowind, but I'll never forget all the hours I've put into Skyrim. The atmosphere in particular is just unforgettable. As for the future "3 things I hate about Skyrim" video, may I suggest talking about the spells and the whole magicka system? It just lost its soul compared to the absolutely INSANE spell effects that Morrowind offers.

Three things surprise me from Skyrim (until now): 1. The world; its grand scale, its "oneness", there must be places I never visit on previous playthrough. I wonder why I didn't go to those places before. 2. Combat system; the oversimplified thing is I can hurt others in so many different ways. 3. The freedom; no matter how big the universe, if I enforced to do something, then it will be no fun. The game itself defines the essence of "role-playing game". What role you play today? 😏 The truest freedom takes shape of abundant mods and godly console command.

I've been drowning in Skyrim for the last 3 months. 5 character playthroughs back to back. All eventual conjurors. I think I need help y'all. I love this game.

We did it guys, we found the one remaining person on the internet who hasn't played 1000 hours of Skyrim...
  • Don't start the main quest, it's more fun that way. Fighting dragons gets tedious and repetitive pretty soon.

The only other game that matches Skyrim's atmosphere is Red Dead 2.
