Ayanokoji’s father is actually not a genius or super intelligent or anything actually.. he’s just experienced, strong willed, & relentless. The narrative specifically tells us a few times how he is not exceptional by any means, not naturally gifted, not born a genius, & is not intellectually superior to the vast majority in any way whatsoever.. He is simply stated to be relentless in his willingness to get shit done basically, & to get to where he wants to be, never giving up, working harder than most, doing things most people wouldn’t want to, & really just doing whatever it takes to accomplish his goals etc etc.. in the words of the narrative.. “He is a man of great ambition. He is not exceptional or a gifted man blessed at birth, but simply has more ambition & drive than just about anyone” or something along those lines.. so he really isn’t extraordinary in his intelligence or talents by any means. He just has a strong will & drive to accomplish his goals, & has gained lots of life experience through pursuing those goals & doing whatever it took to get there. That’s all. Director Sakayanagi (Arisu’s father) on the other hand is a true born genius & naturally gifted person of extraordinary intelligence, & he should have definitely been on this list! He is certainly far more intelligent & deserving than Tsukishiro & Shiba, & is honestly probably the most intelligent character in the entire series just right behind Ayanokoji himself.
