2003 Passat W8 brake light switch replacement

P0571 (engine) cruise/brake switch (A) circ. malfunction
P0703 (trans) brake switch "B" circuit
00526 (brake) brake light switch
Confirmed no brake lights. Checked fuse. ordered switch from local VW dealer for $22 took about a week to get.
Remove lower dash (4xT25) to expose switch. Unplug switch and twist to remove. Install is reverse. No need to depress brake pedal.
Cleared codes/confirmed brake lights worked.
