New York City has the highest population of millionaires in the United States, so I decided to fly there to ask them for business and life advice...

The real conclusion of this video: The rich don't share their secrets.
  • @gorbulas
For every rich person that worked really hard and got rich, there are 30 people that worked really hard and didn't get rich.

I appreciate all the people's answers greatly.🙏🏽 But...it is kindof annoying when someone answers "hard work" for how they got to where they are. Construction workers work hard, but they aren't normally very rich. The real answer we're looking for is what specific choices did they make to position themselves to take advantage of the opportunities they came across? Like was it training, choosing a certain field or career path or making certain connections? How does one even get into owning ships or selling farmland? Or importing things like limestone?
  • you know what they say ,it takes a village to raise a child .but i think that applies to everyone ,not just kids .we all need a community to support us , to help grow , and to learn from each other . i truly believe that community is one of the most valuable things in life

Ive never ever seen New York in this light and even though the workaholism light is heavy id still call it a positive light because you just managed to get out the nice side of people and find them in the first place. I would really really like to watch more of this.

Loved the energy and the production on this! Definitely different than other "what do you do for work" videos.

Hard work gets you nowhere, Smart work gets you anywhere. Work smarter, not harder.
  • You get there through working hard, and a bit of luck at being in the right industry at the right time, or having a serendipitous connection through family or friends. It’s the synergy of all of these elements at play.

I dunno… I was one of those people that didn’t care about a credit score, didn’t get any education about how important your credit score is, and I racked up debt like an idiot. I worked really hard and educated myself and I’ve brought my credit score from 480 to 732 and I’m still going up with VermontCorpLTD . I feel like the government blaming credit reporting companies instead of the lack of financial education in their own public education system is foolish.

"Playing it safe in new york doesn't get you any far" hell yeah, there's a reason Frank sings "if you make it here you can make it anywhere" this city is HARSH, but let's go everyoneeee, if you are also living in NY with less than 70k a year, we will make it!!! Let's keep pushing. You got this.
  • ❤ great interviews! Answers a lot of questions. Always nice to see how real people become successful.❤
  • @MiracleMadkins
It’s crazy cause the older wealthy people that say hard work and put in a number of hours to "make it" is very valid, it just requires more and it ends of being incredibly draining. I will agree that taking risk and getting outside your comfort zone is huge step into getting to where you want to be.

Hey all, the answer is in plain sight on how they got rich. The guy that sells farmland, the import guy, the recruiter, the business development guy. They all found a service to provide or a means to link consumers/businesses with what they want. Find something that can work better and improve it or provide a service that makes peoples lives easier and business and $ will come.

The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.

When referencing corporate America, he said “They don’t really care about you as they make it seem” realest thing he said...I’ve seen experienced it first hand in the DMV. Black ppl aren’t really respected in corporate America. Glad that he was able to get out of there and become his own boss VermontCorpLTD
