Vanguard Theme "In Fulgur and Fire" - FFXIV OST

I love that the Texans absolutely clown on the androids when they know they're coming, just because they've got superior marksmanship and actually know how to use cover.

I don't think a dungeon theme has slapped this hard since The Twinning.

They knew what they were doing when they put this track as the BGM for the Bard in the Job Actions

Soken for real thought we wouldnt notice he just put Yakuza long battle music in as a dungeon theme

Songs like this is why there should be a sound option to not change music for boss fights.

Much as Krile and friends say this isn't anything like they've seen before, I'd say this is almost a refreshing throwback to when we were storming Castrum Meridianum or Abania back in ARR and Stormblood. For all his bluster about how he's not like Garlemald Zoraal sure did build his fortifications like they did.

Official name of this theme is "In Fulgur and Fire". An FC member of mine obtained the orchestrion scroll, apparently a rare drop from the dungeon.

Ran this whole dungeon with a stupid grin on my face. loved it.

I heard this theme in the Job Actions trailer, and I was able to recognize it in Shaaloani's area theme melody. I was just stunned- "how can THIS be for a Shaaloani dungeon?" But part of me was just so hyped that I would get to hear this theme in all of its majesty.

After seeing a couple of the drops here... This dungeon is probably going to be the most farmed for glam out of the expansion.

Everything about military of these is so fuc*ing cool. They took the best parts of fighting Garleans and rammed them up with scifi purple steroids. And the music... aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, perfect

I gotta say, everyone involved in the artistic and musical direction of "Part 2" of Dawntrail did such an amazing job of creating such an otherworldly, incredibly oppressive, but also mysterious and inviting world in Alexandria. I was always uneasy and feeling some weird cosmic existential dread in the back half of the game, and I loved every minute of it. Of course, it was the contrast between this and the wonderfully "old world" of the front side that really added to the whiplash. Such a fantastic expansion.

Did my first run on this dungeon and won the orchestrion scroll at the end. :)

The art of this dungeon shown in the live letter had big Ra'kaznar vibes already, but i didn't expect the final boss being a reference to XI blue mages and the lv 98 gear being called Ra'kaznar :O
