My Holiday in Greece - Rhodes and Symi (one of my best summer trips ever💙🤍)

Rhodes is a beautiful island, there are a lot of things to see and to do. It is washed by 2 seas: the Aegean and the Mediterranean. I stayed in Ialysos and travelled to other parts of the island and to Symi. Ialysos is quite cozy and quiet. I spend a nice time on the beaches and went to Filerimos Monastery (it's on the mountain with a big cross and it has a peacock garden).
You can spent a whole day walking through the medieval city, the narrow alleys and the huge fortress walls in the centre of city of Rhodes. There you can see the amazing Knights Fortress, the ancient remains, the beautiful buildings and the medieval temples.
Anthony Quinn's Bay is one of the most picturesque places I've ever seen.
Symi is one of the most elegant places in Greece. It stands out of the other Greek islands for its beautiful architecture, colourful houses, and a relaxed atmosphere. The port of Symi seems to have popped out of a painting! The first thing that catches your eye as you approach Symi by ferry is the colorful mansions around the port. I spent one day there, but it is worth more!

Rhodes is greener then Cyprus? I know Cyprus is the most forested country in the Middle East, but maybe Rhodes is more forested. IDK. I'm not too familiar with the geography of Rhodes. It seemed more arid to me, but maybe not. How much of a Greek vibe did you feel there? Everyone seems to love this island, but I'm not a fan, because there seems to be a lot of Turkish influence, which I don't wanna see in Greece. And the towns don't seem as picturesque as on other Greek islands.
