I have a chronic disease that causes fevers, chronic pain, & general misery. This is 1 of those songs that help me feel more powerful than the disease & not to give up, keep fighting!

In 1997, seventeen years before this song was originally released (2014), I suffered a heart attack and stroke which left me partially paralyzed on my right side. Doctors told me I would never walk again without braces and crutches, my "explosive" response: "Hide and watch Doc, you just told an Army Ranger to surrender... that word is NOT in my vocabulary!" It took almost 2 years of blood (I fell a few times, busting my lip pretty bad once), sweat and tears, but it's almost 2020 and I don't use braces or crutches. Though it took seventeen years for somebody to put it to music and words, THIS IS MY FIGHT SONG!

🥀Beautiful Amazing Song Brilliant lyrics and music I love this song! This song helped my oldest sister get through breast cancer 5yrs & still going Strong! Now my adult daughter has brain cancer stage 3 chemo and radiation and Prayers are with her I sent her this song because it seems to be the ideal remedies in the lyrics that help us all get through cancer.
