Feel your pain jo. I avoid a particular op shop near me because of this one rude lady who works there. This particular op shop has signs up that says that children are not allowed to touch any of the toys which is hard to go by. I have 3 kids i alway make them stand next to me and even take them in the change room with me so they dont cause trouble. One of my daughters wanted to buy a teddy and accidently dropped it in the store before i got to the register to buy it. We found it hanging back up and this rude lady who works there had a go at me for "wrecking the teddy by dropping it on the floor as she spent ages cleaning it for sale😢 (as if it mattered i was buying it) she then accussed my kids of messing up the other toys including a maccas cardboard toy they were trying to sell for $5 . I apologised even thought my kids didnt actually break with but she kept going at me. Usually i take the high road as well but my kids were starting to cry as this lady was so rude . So i said "you dont have to be so rude i even apologised to you" she told me to get out. I will never take my kids there again. I felt awful that whole day after. Kills the thrifting spirit in me.

That was fun. I'm glad to have an example of how to hold out for love.

The reason people are so rude to some people is because your beacon of light threatens them you know good and evil it’s a real thing ❤❤❤

There is so much clothing waste in the world you would think the whole point of op shops is to sell sell sell not price clothes to sit there for years taking up space. I have volunteered in oppys where the back rooms are stuffed full because there is no shop space. I would love to see a standard price on everything, the money and time saved on printing price tags! All tops, bottoms, dresses $5 each. I think profit would increase just from turning over stock faster. What do you think?
