  • I always liked watching Kindig's show because of the way he ran his shop & treated his people (without all the drama). He seems like a decent guy i would trust doing business with.

The lack of drama and arbitrary deadlines is what makes the show so enjoyable. Bitchin Rides is without a doubt the best car show ever. Don't change a thing. I wish there was a similar show for motorcycles.
  • Who needs "drama" when the show and the quality of the finished vehicles are so good.
  • The lack of drama is what drew me to want to watch the show more and more. Get rid of your writers get rid of the stupid jokes get rid of the drama. Car guys don't want to see drama they want to see cars being built they want to see the tips and tricks and techniques not the drama and the whining and the jokes
  • I had the pleasure of Meeting Dave at a car show in PA last summer. He was just as you would imagine. Very pleasant, engaging and an overall gentleman. I told him that what really drew me to the show other than the incredible cars was the lack of "drama" and the fact that they don't try and tell you they do a car in seven days, they keep it real. He told me that was what he wanted from the start. He said that the network, while trying to develop the show wanted him to do x amount of cars in an impossible amount of time. I cannot remember how many in how long but I remember he said that there was no way he would do that and that it was impossible with the type of quality he demands. If that was what they wanted he would not do the show. As we now know, the network relented and we have benefited.

I was soooo glad there wasn't the "drama" like that of other reality shows....OCC comes to mind. The cars and trucks that Dave and crew would produce were nothing short of JEWELERY!
  • Dave Kindig is the best Custom Car builder in the world. His talented team are dedicated to perfection. I met Dave and his son Drew a few years ago in OC Md. Just last week I got my picture with him and Kev Dogg at the Mecum Auction in Florida. They attracted the largest crowd of anybody there. Both are super nice people. Dave’s hand built carbon fiber 53 Corvette brought about $200k more than he was expecting.
  • I agree, this is the best custom car show and their cars are also the best. Did not like the fake pretense or fake time constraints of other shows. No gimmicks and focus on the art of bringing an old car back to life is the way to go.
  • One of the best car shows around I like that there is no Drama
  • I agree, no drama just great designs and workmanship. I have always enjoyed watching Kindigit Designs

Dave is truly the gentleman of automotive TV shows. It is the one show that viewers seek out for entertainment and knowledge. The banter between him an Kevdog is funny yet respectful. The lack of fake deadlines and drama only makes the show one of a kind. It's refreshing to watch a show and feel like the time spent was not wasted on fake reality programming. Dave, if you see this, don't change a thing brother.
  • No Drama this show is outstanding! that's why it's been on 10 seasons. I will be so glad when dumbass TV writers & producers stop try to put fake drama in everything. Bitchin Rides is on of the best shows on TV. Dave keep doing what you're doing. Ace from Balto, md
  • I still watch his shows; I rather prefer the no drama style, after all is the audience interested in car building or social media geared interpersonal rivalry, if the rivalry than go watch Orange County Choppers reruns! Leave us real car guys and gals to watch classic car building like Dave and his crew do!
  • @fbtool
I really appreciate the in-depth filming showing the crew's hands-on craftsmanship alongside the latest CAD/cam-generated machine tools. They blend it together so well, the best Auto show on TV today.
  • @neddoyle8304
SCREW THE DRAMA! Keep on doing what you do Charity and Dave!
  • @mrrpepsi24
I love the show, Probably the best car show around !
  • I met Dave and Kev Dog at a show they were judging and my buddy got best of show. We sat and talked for a long time and they were a ball. Daves down to earth and still is taking it all in. Great guys.
  • @drummer0864
The show is great and more shows should model the less drama and more of the accomplishment and expertise of doing something right. This country is sorely in need of skilled craftsman and the pride of, a job well done. Dave your accomplishments are farther reaching than just doing a great job on building cars. You're a model of what this country needs more of.
