The 2019 Corvette C7 ZR1 (~$240,000 CAD current market price, ~$165,000 USD current market price) is said to be the last swan song of the front-engine Corvette layout. Before making their switch to mid-engine for the C8, Chevy decided to throw everything at their last beastly C7. It can reach a top speed of 341 kph (212 mph) thanks to its 6.2 L supercharged V8, which stands so tall it needs a shaker hood just so it can fit. Thomas and James put this absolute weapon to the test on the Throttle House Test Track. Let’s see what they think! SUBSCRIBE!

Huge thanks to @jcam.ls for bringing out their ZR1 and letting us feature it in this video

And thank you to Michelin Canada for replacing the tires from today. Find them on social at: www.instagram.com/michelin/?hl=en

The viper has been out of production for nearly 6 years now (2017 model years were made in 2016) and new cars are still hunting them trying to catch up. Such an amazing car. Wish it could come back.

One of My best friends just died in one of these cars. It was dream car. This is as beautiful expression of a vehicle as he was a human. Thank you for a gorgeous video of a Vehicle that does it service, that shows the expression of a car that a properly crazy man would love. This video made me happy to know that his dream car was worth his love. I attend his funeral next week. I love you Brent. Thank you for this video.
  • The fact that this car has 755 horses and a manual will always make it a collectors car and arguably more fun than even the most insane paddle shifted c8. Great video once again!
  • I like how thomas is so skilled when it comes to handling a car on the track, he's got so much knowledge about the chassis dampers transmissions and what not these guys were passionate about something and made it happen. RESPECT
  • The expression on their faces when opening the hood was absolutely priceless.

I drove a C5 today. Even that car reminded me of how special the Corvette is. They are amazing cars for the price of entry.

Personally I appreciate the classic C7’s Corvette shape over the C8. It just looks right!,

14:56 "This feels just like being beaten in the back with a baseball bat wrapped in American flags.. It's Wonderful!"

The C7 in my opinion is one of the best looking Corvette/car ever built! I haven’t driven one yet, but I will for sure buy one sooner or later!
  • @KareemKayy

The rear end of this looks better than the new one imo. Very nice tail lights.
  • @Lethal_Venom
I absolutely love videos like this and the ACR Viper, it just frames everything with what makes the TH channel so great
  • @KuadzFit
You know a channel is amazing when you go back to watch videos over again that you've already watched and enjoy it just as much as the 1st time you watched it 🔥
  • @chrisdooley6468
I was so excited to see this in my feed. This and the ACR are two of my favorite ‘muscle cars that can corner well’. Just a glorious machine
  • @olivera182
TH is definitely the best car review show on YouTube. Consistently high quality reviewing, humour and cinematography! I still look forward to each episode despite it being more relevant to North American audiences based on what cars are reviewed. Perhaps James makes me feel more welcomed as a fellow Brit!? Well done TH. Keep up the great content!

  • @Balancedict
as a fan it was amazing to see TH review my own car and hang out for the day
  • I just discovered this channel and have since taken an unhealthy amount of time binging their videos. I never knew that car youtubes could have this much production value!
