Repeat these AFFIRMATIONS: "I accept life as it is, without judgment or expectation." "I choose to see every experience as an opportunity for growth." "I detach from taking things personally and respond with understanding." "I let go of worry and trust in the flow of life." "I cultivate my worth from within and honor my true self." "I take responsibility for my actions and release the need to blame others." "I set healthy boundaries and surround myself with positive, supportive relationships." "I seek meaningful connections and embrace authenticity in my interactions."

Many years ago, I learned a very harsh lesson, "The Lesson of Approval." I was much younger and naive to my own abilities and strengths. My mentor calmly, but forcefully, taught me this lesson. In the end, I learned that If I did my best, then it WAS my best. And that was what my Mentor expected of me, to be my best and do my best, as at that time, we were all dying of AIDS, I was one of those people. If I always did my best in all that I did, I did not need anyone's approval. I am still alive 30 years later, everyone else is long since dead. I have evolved into the next stage of my spiritual development.
