10,000 tons of SF6 gas is produced per year, out of that 8,000 tons gas is used in electrical industries. And, hence it is very important to have detail info about SF6 gas but, we have very few. I would sure love to use it in place of helium for TIG welding. It can probably get an arc hot enough like hydrogen. Imagine if atomic hydrogen welders used SF6 in WW2.
