This is a hardcore server with a twist: anyone who dies can be revived within 24 hours using a Fate Coin. If the timer counts down to zero, they're lost forever and can never respawn! But the supply of coins is limited, and we don't know how to get more yet...
In this first episode, I go caving with Mogswamp, who hasn't seen a cave for about five years. I establish my base, Jimmy refuses to raid a Woodland Mansion with me, I start digging a hole, and Owen and Eloise save me from a sticky situation.

Welcome to Minecraft SOS! Read the description for more details about this new server :) Episode notes: We decided to add a 'hardcore hearts' resource pack after the first recording, mostly so we all remember that dying has consequences. There were some glitches with Fate Coins being awarded for random advancements. That's been fixed now, but bonus points if you spot a random Fate Coin lying on the ground somewhere in this video! I'll be streaming from the server on Twitch tomorrow, continuing my dig project :)

It is bordering on unhinged to tackle a woodland mansion for books on episode one but the man that brings us the survival guide makes it look easy.

Did someone mention lore?" ➡ "Pig & Bee is a great pitch for Nickelodeon" ➡ "I can't speak or craft as a chicken" This is the kind of progression that I'm here for! By 29:49, it was clear that none of you will be able to survive the constraint. After all, Nature abhlores a vacuum. And come on, fwhip should know the lot of you well enough to have known this fully in advance! 😜

I will suggest that for each tool's marker that some of the materials dug out with it are used for decoration. Things like cobble for the upper level pickaxes and deepslate for ones used further down, dirt or gravel for shovels, moss for hoes, and jungle wood if an axe gets used up somehow.
