Can animals sense earthquakes? Nobody can reliably predict when and where an earthquake will occur. But there are animals that can be used to predict earthquakes! For example, oarfish can feel the electromagnetic changes happening when underwater earthquakes shake the bottom of the ocean. Plus, oarfish, the longest bony fish in the world, are really bad swimmers and can't withstand strong currents. That's why they drift to the shore before tsunamis.

But this isn't the only way to predict earthquakes. Have you ever heard of earthquake lights? They don't come out before every earthquake and take different colors and shapes. From short blue sparks to huge forks of light, they look as though some interstellar visitors decided to see how things are down on Earth. They can look like ball lightning that stays up from tens of seconds to minutes. Quake lights have been spotted all across the world over the centuries, from Italy to San Francisco and Japan. Powerful earthquakes followed them... What natural disasters can people predict? And how do we do it?

    Hey guys, I just wanted to stop by to send some positive energy to all of you! These past years been very tough to me. Ive been challenged mentally, emotionally and certainly spiritually. I feel like i’m finally finding myself and who I was once before when I had peace. I am thankful to come across a channel like this one that shows me that we are really all one in the same. We all have these daily struggles that we deal with that can keep us up late at night but just know that you are not alone.     One time my husband and I drove along the Hwy. 1 in Sonoma County California and we noticed that the water level had dropped quite considerably and we both knew that Cresent City California had experienced a huge Tsunami from Japan after it was struck by a really huge earthquake a few years ago. I think that the earthquake had occurred around 2013-2015 or so. We left area before the Cresent City Tsunami had made its way southward to where we were.

    Thank you, I learnt something new. Love the smell of rain but never knew until now that it's called petrichor and smell of lightening is actually ozone.
