The faces when Chloe chua was playing the entire piece: Eddy- shocked Brett- mentally disappointed in himself
  • @trivia3108
She looks harmless when she speaks, yet so gangsta when she's playing
  • @danbuter
I love how she gives them advice about being too tight, and use one finger over another, and it immediately makes them play better. Chloe is a great teacher.
  • @frankG335
She's assertive and confident while also being soft spoken and sweet. Her ability speaks for itself.

Me before watching Chloe: "she looks my age" Me after watching Chloe: "self esteem go brrr"
  • @grantbmilburn
"Chloe, are you Ling Ling?" "Nah, I give lessons to Ling Ling."
  • @Marcus-Lim
Every time they play I think, that’s pretty good, then she plays and I’m like oh, oh damn, oh god damn.
  • @loriw2661
I know absolutely NOTHING about the violin. But listening to the sound she makes when playing is incredible. Not just how fast she can play but the quality of her sound. 🎻
  • @lancegaupp3755
Brett mutterly: "I'm a classical musician..." Chloe: "sure grandpa, let's get you back inside..."
  • @Windy2468
Me: Oh that sounds pretty good! Chloe: Your wrist is too tight Me: His wrist was too tight

Wow, a lot of prodigies have so much natural talent that they find it hard to teach others, because for them it's like "just do it bro". But she really understands where they're going wrong and you can see the vast improvement in their playing in such a short time. She also easily acknowledges the difficulty of the piece when it's clear that she finds it easy. A true master of her craft
  • Unlike most child prodigies, she seems to understand the instrument and music, and won’t fall apart as she ages . She can already teach incredibly well, and I think her career will keep going

5 stages of anxiety 1: playing next to a professional 2. playing next to an asian 3. playing next to a prodigy 4. playing next to an asian prodigy 5. playing next to lingling
  • @DancingNinja98
She's literally the main character of an anime about violinists and we're just the background characters.
  • @vianeyalopez
Don't let talent alone fool you. She has amazing technique and she's taken the time to problem solve and find ways to minimize the areas that could slow her down. She's practiced a lot to get where she is. You can do it boys.

Not even being musically inclined I can hear the difference. Not even to say that Brett and Eddy are bad players because they're great players but Chloe is just phenomenal.
  • this is not a masterclass this is a how-to-destroy-your-self-esteem-class.
  • @tSp289
The best part is she's not showing off. She's seeing what they do wrong, offering a correction and you can immediately hear in improvement. Seriously impressive.
  • Can we all just take a moment and appreciate the bruise(?) or dark mark under her jaw? It shows HOW MUCH she practices to the point it has darkened that much. She's AMAZING.

Knowing that she's half their age and probably twice as good at the violin doesn't stop her from being super sweet, humble and kind. She laughed at every single one of their joke and always gives suggestions starting with "Maybe you can...". I'm an adult beginner learner myself and I'm genuinely impressed by how much humility these three young people have.
