We had one at the garage I worked at in the 70's very useful

Love the hack.. but you need a support under the long arm so it does not roll under mite damage your car or harm yourself 👍
-
How long do you need to make the pivot LIFT arm, vs height from floor to rocker? This is great, THANK YOU!!

Мужик под сто кило еле поднимает машину. Я точно не подниму. А если из рук при поднятии сорвётся, вмятина в бачине гарантированна!

Мужик переглядел репортажей с Формулы-1 )))))))

Fantastic! I was trying to come up with a quick way to damage my sills .
-
Top marks for innovation, I would prefer to keep my sills though.

Nice idea and not bad for a first prototype.

Thank you guy for the video.

Perfect for caving in your rocker panels 😂😂

Use all metal wheels and a greased solid bar for the axle, it'll roll a lot easier, that's why you never see a trolley jack with rubber on its wheels! More importantly, NEVER lift or support a car from the centre of the sill, it's the weakest part, there's extra metal on the inner sills at the PROPER jacking points, which is identified by a indent on the sill, about 8ins. 20cm. from the ends. Look closely, he's already very slightly bent his on two places near the centre. Do a MK.2 version.

Amazing what good old mechanical advantage can do, I’ll probably stick with jack though, cool video nonetheless. 👍🏻
-
I’ll stick with my car jack that’s fits perfectly in my trunk, out of site. Perfect song choice though (is it really worth it) lol
-
"give me a fulcrum and lever and I'll move the planet." A reversible ratchet on wheel may make it a little safer.
-
Until it slips and he's sitting on it again and HE goes through the window!! 😂😂😂 lmfao
-
Awesome technique..👍👍👍

Pretty cool, as others have said it might bend the sills but I'm sure you could adapt the end so it went into the designated jacking point on the vehicle.
