I have a 2011 Duramax Denali with 283,000 miles. I planned on keeping it until I die. GM has finally made a Truck worth the upgrade.

I have had mine for 7 months, and it is my favorite vehicle that I have driven in over 40 years of driving vehicles. Everything you mentioned is right on the money, the good and the bad . Super Cruise is not offered in GM's HD's, the new global B architecture needs additional memory to handle super cruise, supposedly they are working on it, my guess is it may not appear until the next update. I'm getting over 550 miles with the 36-gallon fuel tank, combination city, and highway griving. The cameras are amazing and makes the truck very easy to park. A Neat feature I recently found is double press and hold down the unlock button on your remote, and all the windows will open (remote window operation has to be enabled in your setup). Also, in settings, you have the option of keeping the running boards deployed while parked. Many features and settings that let you customize the truck to your liking. I tow a 32 foot camper from Florida to Michigan, and the towing experience is great, 15 to 16 mpg, tows thru the mountains like nothing is behind you, vary relaxed towing experience. Take care.

Picked up my 2024 2500 Ultimate in June. My retirement present after 40 yrs. driving a semi for UPS. We love the truck and have had no problems whatsoever with it. Love the cameras in this thing. They are supposed to come out with a wireless camera you can mount behind our travel/cargo trailers that gives you the full 360 visual around the entire rig. We had a F-150 that we really liked but it struggled pulling our toys around, especially in the mountains. Not a problem with the new truck. I see you are down in Tennessee. One of our favorite atv/off road parks is down by you ( Wind Rock). Anyways hope you enjoy yours as much as we enjoy ours
  • I’ve had my 2024 Ultimate since May and I absolutely love it, the ultimate interior sold me immediately also and the complete exterior re-design is so much more aggressive looking than the other brands. Highly recommend this truck !

When it comes to a 4WD Truck . It is BETTER to HAVE IT and NOT NEED IT , then to NEED IT and NOT HAVE IT !

Got mine a little over a week ago and am in love with it! Not sure if you knew or not, but you can actually change the shortcuts on the left of the infotainment screen. All you have to do is drag and drop things from your home screen. I replaced the top trailer shortcut on top with the camera function since I don't tow that much. Way more convenient than having to go to the home screen every time.

This is by far the best review I’ve seen so far, my wife and I are purchasing this model in February….tyvm very informative

Wealthy guys and their trucks, God bless America. I couldn’t afford to register that thing. It’s funny, it used to be rich guys got Porsche 911s to show everybody how successful they are, but now it’s ultra high end trucks. Fun to look at and fantasize. Beautiful truck.

Gabriel, thank you sir! Masterful review from an owners perspective! Appreciate you’re considerable insights and observations. I have my grandfather’s ‘63 GMC, 4-on-the-floor, 3/4t, 4x4 w/ winch and PTO, in which I learned to drive. Have been leaning Tundra, however, I think you’ve convinced me w/ this video that I need to honor his memory and ease into the modern version of the ole ‘63, ie. this absolute land bruiser and supreme road warrior of a truck, Ultimate HD!

By far, this is the best review I've seen on a vehicle. These newer Denalis are perfection. GM did a great job on the updates.
  • @PatriotDave17
Really enjoyed your real-life perspective on the Denali 2500! Thanks!👏

Ordered mine in November and finally arrived. I got the X31 3500 w/convenience package crew cab slt in red metalic, dark walnut/slate interior. It has practically everything a Denali has minus sunroof and a few minor options. First thing I'm doing is getting the undercarriage coated. Doing research on Borla exhaust and Banks rear diff cover. Will add Banks turbo to wake up the sleeping giant under the hood later on. Great video. Thanks.

The heroes who made this prestige truck, the most beautiful truck in the world, GMC, a distinctive mark, the pride of owning this truck.
  • I have the 2018 Chev LTZ 3500 HD and love it. Really impressed with the added camera views, it's like my Toyota Highlander Limited. Did notice they got rid of the interior roof handles. I never use mine, but could see an advantage to them off road. I do like my solid chrome bumpers, doesn't cost me a thousand dollars if I bump into something. Good video.
  • @700Junky
Great video review. Beautiful truck. I have a 2024 Chevy High Country 3500 SRW, and the screen on those was moved higher and it’s completely unobstructed. There is another camera view you never see till your towing. It’s activated when you’re signaling a lane change or turn. It look down the side of the truck and trailer. Love these trucks! GM knocked it out of the park on these.

I just spent quite some time looking for this video. I found and watched this video back in the middle of may. After watching 60-70 review videos of this truck after watching this video I bought a 2024 Sierra duramax Denali Memorial Day weekend. Just wanted to say thanks for an honest review and your video made me purchase one after eyeing and reviewing them for months. Great truck so far!
  • I have the same truck. Also live in Nashville. Absolutely love the truck! Wife has the Denali Yukon with Super Cruise which is the only thing I wish I had but I get it. Adaptive Cruise Control works very well. Thanks for sharing!

have my 2500 ultimate since May (mind this is my first truck ever, I've always been a sport cars guy), put 14k miles in it and love it for all the features you just mentioned. loved the amg gt comparison, I do have a panamera turbo as well and I barely drive it anymore. The truck just has everything I always wanted, cameras that stay on when im driving, no auto-startstop, good interior quality, good enough sound system, and the list goes on.
