Best Walks in South DEVON - BRIXHAM to TORQUAY - SW Coast Path National Trail

Published 2024-06-08
We are walking the 630 mile long South West Coast Path National Trail in England. In May 2024 we spent a long weekend in South Devon, with the aim of completing two more stages of this amazing route. In this vlog, we commence our route in Brixham, heading for the birthplace of Agatha Christie, Torquay, taking in beaches and resorts along the way, including Broadsands and Paignton.

We plan to complete the entire route over coming months between work and everyday life, plus for logistical reasons, we may complete different stages of the route and fill in the gaps as we go along! We’ll share the entire route, interesting points of interest, plus if we feel it appropriate, we’ll also point out recommended accommodations and places to eat!

  • When we walked the SWCP we took a ‘rest day’ at Brixham. The best crab sandwich we’ve ever had was enjoyed right on the harbour. Another enjoyable video, thanks both.

Beautiful coastline. Yet I noticed some SWCP walkers have actually took a short cut and got the bus from Brixham to Torquay ,and stating that part of the route comes away from the coast itself.Yet they are missing some beautiful coastline by doing so..
