Could not stay above 60 beats per minute, but with the new upgrades? Never goes below, and I personally love it. It took alot of work to get here, and this sort of thing may not be for everybody, but I personally am so glad I picked one up. I've been watching you for a decade, so long that I genuinely imagined the entire video in this style before I watched. A sigh of relief was my reaction at the end. It's not an overstatement to say that you've shaped my enjoyment of this franchise for a very long time, and though I have nothing that can give back that measure of reward to you, I sincerely wished for you to be well. My son was born with a heart defect. We almost lost him but he pulled through and we had great care. It was the scariest thing I’ve ever been through and I’ve been through some shit. I’m worried about how it will effect his life, but I want to thank you for sharing your story. The way you talk about it encourages me that he will still learn to have a good life. As a former physician I can say that your experiences with your first cardiologist are sadly common in this country. Our healthcare system definitely needs a major reboot to eliminate those kinds of experiences. Also, a health problem should not make you destitute. Healthcare bills are the #1 cause of bankruptcy in this country.

Glad to hear you are doing good man. I had cancer in my late 20's which resulted in some significant life changing events but we can get use to a lot of things. It can take a while to find a new normal but it is something that is possible to find.

I had to chuckle at your anesthesia bit at 11:00. I was in hospital a few years back for some cardiac stuff too (nothing remotely as serious as your case, all's good) but they wanted to get me in for an angiogram too. For whatever reason, my BPM just would. not. go. down. They pumped me full of some stuff to bring it down. I focused heavy on my breathing, trying to just relax. Nada. They eventually said F it, a bad picture's better than no picture, and put me in anyways. Glad to hear all's going good guy, fingers crossed they keep that way.

Thank you so much for sharing this story. I'm in tears. My dad died 2 years ago of heart disease. We got a lot of extra years with him because of the pacemaker so I'm so glad you got this taken care of. ❤
