So the cop basically kidnapped a tourist because the cop was ignorant of the law?
  • @gonetimeless
This “police officer “ should be fired immediately
  • @SN-iw6or
This so called "police officer" should be fired and extradited to Canada to face justice for kidnapping a Canadian citizen.
  • @nwestark
You need to sue them for damages and distress.
  • @gbkworf
As a 3 decade cop, this was atrocious. In fact I have stopped Canadian tourists in South Florida. Never arrested any of them. YOU NEED TO SUE THEM for FALSE ARREST!
  • @T0ghar
The victim is way too nice. The department needs to be sued.
  • Where was the US Judge that ordered her Bail? Does he know the Law? Unbelievable and unacceptable.
  • @TomReichner
This officer's name should be made very public and she should be held accountable in the court of public opinion. In other words, she needs to be publicly shamed, or better yet, sued by the victim.

I'd get a lawyer, try to sue for false arrest. I'm embarrassed for my own country. Sad :(

"Canadian licenses are not accepted in the state of Georgia." Neither are basic educations or proper police training, apparently.
  • She was clearly targeted by the police. I would be demanding a public apology from the police officer that arrested her.
  • @peryole
She is absolutely correct, she did have a right to contact her consulate. That cop needs to be tried and prosecuted

I Live in GA. This Is RIDICULOUS. You Absolutely Should Have SUED FOR FALSE ARREST.
  • @raesmart3305
Should of received impound charge refunded also. Plus$100,000.00 for pain and suffering. The cop should be fired and a written apology from the Governor.
  • @CalmingAnxiety
As a Brit I am constantly amazed at the level of corruption and incompetance of the US police. That cop needs to be held accountable
  • I live in New York, I drove through South Carolina, they targeted me for the same reason, money.

This is embarrassing, but as soon as she said, "Georgia...."
