Sometimes we have to work on the daily drivers even when we don't want to. Dana's GMC Yukon has a few problems, One of which we are going to fix in this video. Batteries in vehicles just don't last like they use to. We got stranded with a bad battery in her GMC yukon the night before I made this video. In this video I am going to show you how to replace a battery in a 2014-2020 GMC Yukon Chevrolet Tahoe, Cadillac Escalade, Yukon Denali. It isn't a bad job but you do have to remove a few things to access the battery. I like to use a AGM replacement battery as they are what came in the Yukon factory and don't leak acid and rust things. The battery is heavy so be careful lifting it out. I thing you need to loosen the overflow to make the job easier. If you have a 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 or 2020 GMC Yukon Yukon Denali Chevy Tahoe Cadillac Escalade and need a new battery replacement this is a DIY replacement how to video for you to do the job on your own. 4:02 Agreed, I have a similar sized one as you have here, but also a smaller version with smaller tip...that's come in handy at times. I also have a similar apparatus with an adjustable mirror on the end. It's very useful for seeing around tight corners.
  • I had to replace my battery in my 2017 caddy XTS. And it was just like that. But I was able to cheat it out without taking all the wires loose. But it looks like you don't have as much room.. the reset was different. It had me lower one window and put it back up. Then another. Then another. Till done.

Cool video, where you score the wheels, and headlight assy? Your ride is nice
  • @jagutz1222
Loved the yukon denali but too many motor issues
  • @sergiopereziii
We had the condenser fail on our 2017 Yukon XL Denali. That R1234 Freon is super expensive.
  • @sidgreatorex5484
There is a TSB both in pertaining to the condenser leaking on that vehicle. May want to check with your Chevy dealer.
  • @jerrenb...
You dont use any grease or anything to protect your terminals from corrsion? I recently tried lithium grease but I dont like how it dried out somewhat.
  • @jewllake
I replaced the one on my 18 Sierra. If it's not a diesel - why not put it in the front left?
  • It’s the condenser that gives out. One of the many flaws of this generation. I agree, upgrades are always nice to work on. Repairs not so much. 👍

Guaranteed that advance or autozone wouldn’t replace the battery
