What Does It Take To Be a Missionary

This video straight up made me cry. Ever since I was about 11 years old I have wanted to be a missionary but lately I am not so sure. I am a clumsy, obese, moody, socially akward 17 year old girl with chronic pain and seizures. I want to help people and serve my God. Now I know I can.

This video made me cry out . Since from my childhood I wanted to be a missionary n now im Pursuing Theology but still then my physical weakness I often failed to participate in everything. Over load of sickness but I hope n believe that In Christ everything is possible ❤

This message touches me. We got the call to go to Brasil and it is so new and crazy but I want to obey and follow my Jesus. We got 3 small kids so it is even more to "worry" but I want to trust and let go of my fears.

Your family sharing their lives as missionaries for all to see has been such a blessing to me and my family. We surrendered our lives to the Lord’s call for missions on May 13, 2020, after a 4 1/2 week revival in our church. God saved me, a 40 year old Baptist lost church member, that had trusted for 35 years in a profession made as a boy that was not real. God opened my eyes to the truth, I was lost. I had been raised my entire life in church, never been out of church thank the Lord, and had taught Sunday school for years and even had a nursing home ministry that I was preaching in for 3 years, and a year so far of Bible college. God showed me what I had was a dead knowledge full of religion but no heart knowledge of Jesus Christ. Pride had taken my heart into hardness because of denial of conviction that I thought for years was just the devil trying to make me doubt my profession of salvation. God’s grace and mercy brought me to the end of myself on April 30, 2020, and He saved my soul on week 2 of the revival. I had joy that I never had for the first time in life and now understand what true love for others is all about. I was left however with a burden and broken heart from stepping down from teaching and preaching though, I didn’t want to be a stumbling block to others. I began to pour out my heart to God in the next 2 1/2 weeks of revival to let me do something for Him, and the last night of revival, God called me and my family to the mission field and we surrendered all we have to Him. So many questions about missions and God led me to find Bro. John O’Malley’s page and I saw your video. I subscribed to your channel and God has used your family’s videos to help us so much. God gave me Romans 15:20-21 for our calling and I’m looking and praying for a place where the gospel has not been preached. Very interested in the Solomon Islands and in the Peeler family location of Nukuoro. Praying for you and your family and the work going on in the Solomon Islands.

I was talking to my mum earlier today about doing this and I’m not too sure. I’m worried that while on a mission I get caught but on the other hand I want to preach the name of Jesus.
