I actually thing its really cool how Meg took the time to research and understand the shift from kids to teens happen instead of just being frustrated by "the change of behaviour"

Hi Meg! As a teen, I do way better in school if I have more sleep. I think everything you got was AMAZING! Enjoy your new house! 😀
  • My mom always forced an early bedtime, even as a teenager. I was never allowed to stay past 9:00 PM. So, this shift because of hormones never applied to me personally. Now, that I'm in University it was a big jump from getting 9-10 hours of sleep to 4-5 hours because I have to study, and work. I literally sleep around midnight and wake up around 4am on weekdays and 3 am on weekends to get everything done. It's exhausting, and never have I ever looked to the end of the term more anxiously than now where I can finally average around 8 hours of sleep again.
  • I love how he ran and jumped on the bed lol! Glad to see that habit stays strong into the teen years!

As a 13 year old, I find it really hard to fall asleep in complete silence too, and I play audible books on my Alexa! Idk if that would count for the no electronics, but it really helps me :)

I wish I had brooks room and that my parents cared that much about my sleep. But what would make me most happy is that your kids appreciate their parents love & care and if they have their own kids when they grow up, they'll love & care for them as much as you guys did :)
  • I am not even half way in and I am impressed by the patience you have 💖
  • I learned some stuff for me to sleep better and I’m 45, thanks for all your work and doing the research so we don’t have to. Mattress Firm really is a great place to go my dad got his bed from them and he loves it.
  • This video kinda makes me chuckle because my mom was always just like, "Your body knows what you need to do." And this video is basically just telling us that you need to control it because it doesn't know what to do. Y'know, 9-10 hours of sleep, all different matrices for different positions, blinds open on weekdays for natural light, only sleep less than 2 hours on weekends, stuff like that.

  • Great tips (I'm 17 and I wish I knew) and woah, Brooks plays guitar very well and his room is pretty cool
  • Not a mom but been watching you for 5yrs and finally have a sibling to use your hacks on😁❤
  • This was informative. My oldest is 12 but she has to share a room with my youngest, but that device you go is very nice.

Meg, when the move is over, can we please get a house tour of your new home?
