Did you have to balance the wheel ? I was thinking of making a similar machine but was concerned about the bearing life of an un balanced mass .
-

-
Gracias Alesandro por responder, quedo atento a tu ayuda e información.
-
Ron Swanson would be proud of you! Well done!
-
Thanks! I'm using 3hp (2.2kW) motor and I can grind about 3-4 centimetres branch..
-
Kickass machining and fab work!
-
Félicitation, c'est un très jolie travail que tu a fait là ;)
-
How do three blades between the discs work? Are the fastenen statically or can rotate on bolts? Are they welded together?
-
hello been glad to watch your video..... i would like to ask what the measurements of it. i would love to make like it. thanks
-
Beautiful work, I would like to be as handy as you are. With the capacity you have I would make a ''stepkovac'' like in Czech Republic
-
Good effort. What power motor are you using there? What is the largest branch it will handle?
-
This is next level homemade, great job!
-
Nicely made unit,.carefully laid out step by step build. Now what about, long pants, safety shoes or boots, full face shield and ear protection as well as suitable work gloves.....You'll learn when one or two of those flying chips hits you in the wrong place,.....But the video in an of itself is a good piece of work. Thanks.

I found another way to mulch for free. I have one driveway and almost five cars drive over it every day. Every time you walk past your driveway, throw down a stick (nothing too thorny, poky, or hard!) and that's all you have to do! By the end of the week you will have a tiny pile of mulch. This is the stupidest thing I've ever done but I'm desperate for mulch and I figure enough will accumulate over the year to make it worth the minimal effort and zero cost.
