"LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga provides some rollicking reimaginings of Star Wars' most iconic moments and seats them inside a series of interplanetary playgrounds that are dense with discovery and entertaining diversions. Certain elements like its upgrade and cover systems feel somewhat superfluous, and co-op has some notable drawbacks, but there were otherwise enough laugh out loud gags and surprising shifts in gameplay to keep me thoroughly engaged from the opening crawl of Episode I all the way through to the end of Episode IX - which is more than I can say for the actual movies."

  • A shame that Obi-wan vs Anakin isn't a duel between players, that was one of my favorite parts in Complete Saga
  • @Redacted341
A moment of silence for the droid that was about to leave for retirement
  • @sirin9850
This is how it felt to play The Complete Saga back in the day
  • @Archivist42
Gonna be playing this for nostalgic bliss. Played the original Lego Star Wars, at the time the best co-op game I’d played. The Lego element is almost incidental to me
  • @eziotru
It’s a bit disappointing that this game handles the Obi-Wan vs Anakin fight worse than the original did in co op. Having it be a 1v1 between the two players like the original could have made for a fun moment with all the new mechanics.
  • Lego games are so underrated. Some of the best games out there especially if you want a break from competitive grindy games
  • @vinnregi4882
How LEGO Star Wars has more content than the new Battlefront games is beyond me. Proof that when you have merit and care about the product, you can produce quality
  • @cccrispsn
This will be my first LEGO game. This game looks awesome!
  • Maul: “Wait! l was a lot more important to the Star Wars mythos!” SkywaIker Saga: “Unfortunately for you, history wiII not see it that way.”

PSA: In the settings, you can turn off automatic health recovery to make the game more challenging. The reviewer should have done this first before criticizing the difficulty. Also, when you unlock the collectible detector skill, you can disable it so its less annoying

For a Lego game I’m sure this is a 10

"A little something for everyone" "Really makes you feel like you're a jedi"
  • @red-hot
3:17 this actually made me laugh out loud so much

one thing you gotta notice is how lego games almost never have massive fedility issues. Like its kinda hilarious how amazing they are at game production
  • @rando8831
This would’ve been my favorite game as a kid lol
  • @cody7790
Imagine how cool it would be to work on this. Someone explaining to you how they want something to look and you go and work on it and after doing that 1000 times you have a masterpiece. It would be so cool to be a game designer and know you made something like this.
  • I’m gonna be honest. 7/10 for the story mode. They had 3 years to make this and the story mode is missing some iconic battles. Like you couldn’t even attack the second Death Star it was just a cutscene of lando blowing it up. And you couldn’t fly anakin and obiwans Star fighters and shoot ships and blow up the shields on grievous’s ship.
