Who needs a grill when you can just spray grill flavoring on food before sliding it into the oven? Why throw peppers away when you can just cut off the caterpillar-infested parts? Here are the menu items Pizza Hut employees want us to think twice about ordering.

What would you say is the worst thing on the menu at Pizza Hut?

As someone who is still working there and has been there for 10 years now. Almost everyone one of these "facts" are 100% wrong

Pizza Hut employee of 9 years in central Florida here. Going to address the "points" in this video. I have worked at a number of stores in my region so while I cannot speak for the company nationally I can defend my local region. Stuffed crust is made with a what are effectively string cheese, and you easily have enough to fill the whole crust unless you mess up big time. Pan, you barely put enough oil to cover the bottom of the pan, let alone have "half an inch" of oil. The personal pan... are you insane? There is often not ENOUGH oil used and the pizza clings to the pan so you have to take extra care removing it... extra oil after rising my ass. My store has no grilled items, so cannot comment on that... Ham very much has use by dates, and this stuff about ham changing colors... who is your supplier? Pineapple we have never had complaints about it that I have heard (not a manager but do hear a lot from our managers). Cannot speak for taste because I am one of those who don't like pineapple at all. Pasta containers for individual sale are never reused, they are cooked in individual, disposable aluminum tins. The pasta containers for the buffet are supposed to be properly cleaned after each use before being used again for the next day. When I worked a store that had buffet we prepared enough pasta for the next day's expected demand. The alfredo... yeah, that has changed and the change is not a universally popular one. While some might like the new alfredo I am not one of them, but some do like the change. Very much runny when coming out of the oven on pizza though, you need to clean the pizza cutter and the cutting board after. Sadly the bacon is basically a garnish and yeah, not much meat there. If you want enough to actually enjoy bacon on a pizza, you need to go at least double bacon by itself. Breadsticks, again the claim of massive amounts of oil are very overblown, our dishes are basically cast iron, you need to have a reasonable amount of oil or any dough just attaches to the pan and does not let go... The "butter sauce" is basically a form of margarine, although if it is not properly shaken it does separate. Never heard any complaints with our pepperoni, and it is very much a popular item. Bugs on the veggies, have never seen it even once... The boneless wings are prepared in a section that is simply the "raw zone" and goes straight from the freezer, to that area right beside it to be portion, back into the freezer and then into the basket to be cooked. And if your local store of any kind is not changing oil properly, yes it can get bad, any properly run store will deal with the oil when it shows the first signs of having been used to much.

I worked for PH in the 90’s. Things where much easier, dough made fresh daily, ingredients were actually fresh. We sold pizzas and breadsticks NOT wings and other non pizza related items.

I managed a pizza hut back in the early 90s for a few years and the majority of the comments referring to oil are incorrect and extremely blown out of portion…. or those employees were not trained to standard.
  • @Funkdoc22
This seems like a straight up hit piece.... different locations have different management..... if this is going on.... then management would be fired immediately

Did anyone catch the part when the narrator Said ‘’into the fridge to bake’’ lol
  • @hybridce99
I don't care what you say, Mashed, I love stuffed crust pizza. Something is wrong with YOU, not me.
  • @Craxin01
I’d rather eat frozen pizza from the supermarket than eat literally anything from Pizza Hut.
  • @jngibson24
The OG Big New Yorker was one of the best pizza's of it's time.
  • @MrBiggles53
When I lived in southern Italy, every time you bought a truly fresh, never frozen pizza, you’d turn it on its side to let the oil run off. Authentic, tasty, you just poured off the excess on to a plate.
  • I worked at Pizza hut 24 years ago now and even back then the pan pizzas used a ton of the oil spray but the pizza tastes good . If you are like me, pizza hut makes me use the bathroom easily within 20 minutes of eating so if you want to clear the bowels, eat the pan pizza lol. I remember back then taking the cheese sticks and having to wrap the dough around the cheese sticks. do they come prepared with it in the dough now or still doing it the way I describe? by the way its the easy way for make your own at home stuffed crust pizzas.

    Terrible Item???... it's called a Menu!...🦈
  • @SpyderByte6450
Ex Pizza Hut employee and I can confirm some but not all of these
  • Quality has taken quite a dive the last 15 years... Their best pizza was the Justin Wilson pizza back in the late 80's (to me, at least), but since corporate funds started screwing product down the line, undercooked chicken wings (chicken wings should NEVER have gummy skin PERIOD!!), & expensive damn pricing for product now (NOT relegated to just Hut), I can't trust the work anymore.
  • @boomerbear7596
Nothing quite like seeing something I just ate for dinner show up at the start of the video! I quite like the stuffed crust pizza though. I actually always eat the crust on pizza anyway, stuffed or not.
  • @MikeyP109
You have no way to prove any of this. This is beyond irresponsible reporting. I really hope Pizza Hut files a law suit.
  • I stopped eating Pizza Hut when they added something to their food that gives me the runs.
