You can clearly tell he is a super passionate artist that not only wants to make hits and money, but keeps playing a character that he made based on himself. Im glad he didn't take the The Walking Dead route and kept pumping out trash after trash that would inevidably not be interesting and the albums would probably be bad. Abel singlehandedly made me start listening to music in general and he's pretty much the only artist i've been listening to with some exceptions.

The Weeknd is the closest artist we have to Michael Jackson. He was #1 on Spotify for 2 years straight, had a Super Bowl show etc. but I still think he is underrated. It feels like most people see him as a regular pop artist when in reality his music is so much more. it's truly art.
