Thanks for this. I built a large inkle loom yesterday in the Ashford style and today I made the Inklette loom. Starting a small weave tonight to get the feel of things. Your video was a lot of help.

Pretty good going for a beginner! I would usually weave the end in with the second pick, so one earlier than you did. No biggie though. To make the end easier to finish, insert a darning needle into the second last pick just before you pass the shuttle through. It will lie next to the weft thread, similar to the way your card strips do. Weave the last pick, cut the weft and leave an end. Then thread the end into the eye of the needle. Pull the needle through the warps and out the other side - voila, end woven in!
  • I didn't know you have an inklet loom. I have one on order hoping it arrives by the weekend.

What kind of thread are you using. It is very pretty and shiny. I just had my little loom delivered. Trying to get everything I need to get started. Thanks for then info. I need something to work on because I get bored quickly. I like this little one. It is small, yet looks like I can make small gifts for Christmas. Thanks for the video, lee
  • Recently got my loom and wonder why no one suggests the kind of thread to use?
